In honor of Bella’s birthday & her love for all animals I’d love to collect as much dog food, cat food & toys as possible to donate to the elderly who might be in need, the local Vet school & animal shelter.

You can also make a donation of supplies or money to your local no kill shelter in her name if you’d like I know she’d be thrilled 💕👼

This wishlist is just an idea, of foods/toys that can be used they can be purchased anywhere! Chewy, Walmart, family dollar, dollar general, grocery store, anywhere you’d like if you choose to help.

Happy belated birthday to her! We just donated 20 lbs. of cat food and several good cat toys to our local shelter. Please note that it's very important to support 'kill' shelters (https://vocal.media/petlife/why-you-should-actually-support-kill-shelters) - the reason they have to kill some animals is because they take ALL animals rather than let them be abandoned to die miserably, but they don't have the resources to care for all of them. The more support they get, the more animals they can keep alive.

The real solution to the problem is to demand action by our State legislators. The law I'd like to see would require ALL cats and dogs to be spayed/neutered before breeding age, except those licensed as breeders by a veterinarian; license to be renewed every six months. The State to pay all vets for providing shots and spay/neuter free to all pets; funds for this to come from the hefty fines for keeping an unlicensed breeder. If everyone who hates it that shelters have to kill animals were to write to their Representatives and ask them to make it so, it could save a whole lot of innocent lives.

Yes...thanks...I hope she had a good birthday up there...wherever the next world is.

I am aware of what you say re: kill shelters, but, as it is not my fundraiser...;)

And, thank you for donating to your local shelter! I will let her mom know.
